Santo Domingo. The National Police reported that it continues the search for Wilkin Ozoria, known by the aliases “Pinky” and “Pekín El Cabezón”, identified as the third person allegedly involved in an assault in which a member of the institution was wounded by gunfire in the Hato Mayor province.
According to investigations, the event occurred on August 2, 2026, in the area of La Mora, belonging to the municipal district of Mata Palacio, where police officer Emmanuel Ramírez was shot in the right leg while he was at the scene. José Luis Severino is also listed as a victim in the incident.
The authorities indicated that Ozoria, 21 years old and a resident of San Pedro de Macorís, is wanted via arrest warrant No. AJ0065819-2026, issued for his alleged connection to the attack.

The police warned that the suspect could be armed, so they recommended that citizens not confront him or attempt to detain him on their own.
