Constanza, La Vega, D.R.– Members of the Intelligence Division (DINTEL) of the National Police carried out several targeted operations in different sectors of the Constanza municipality, where they seized more than 400 portions of narcotic substances, cash, and cell phones, in addition to arresting two people in the act.
During an initial intervention carried out at a drug sale and distribution point located in the Centro del Pueblo sector, agents seized 35 portions of marijuana, 33 portions of crack, three portions of cocaine, and cash. The occupants of the premises managed to escape upon noticing the police presence.
Subsequently, in an operation carried out in the Tireo Abajo sector, the individual named Bairon de Jesús Guzmán Almanzar was arrested in flagrante delicto, from whom 31 portions of marijuana, 10 portions of cocaine, cash, and a cell phone were seized.

Likewise, in an operation carried out in the Los Gajitos sector, agents arrested the individual named Oliver de Jesús García Arroyo, seizing 67 portions of marijuana, 39 portions of cocaine, 199 portions of crack, cash, and a cell phone.

In total, during the operations, 133 portions of marijuana, 42 portions of cocaine, and 232 portions of crack were seized, in addition to cash and various communication devices used in illicit activities.
The detainees and the seized evidence were referred to the corresponding authorities for the appropriate legal purposes, while the National Police continues to reinforce preventive and intelligence actions against drug micro-trafficking in the province of La Vega.
