Constanza, La Vega, D.R. – Members of the Intelligence Division (DINTEL), in coordination with the Preventive Police and the Dominican Republic Army, carried out a targeted operation in the Los Gajitos sector, Constanza municipality, where a man was arrested and hundreds of portions of alleged narcotic substances were seized.
During the intervention, Oliver de Jesús García Arroyo was arrested after attempting to escape upon noticing the presence of the authorities.
At the scene, the agents seized 107 portions of a vegetable substance presumably marijuana, 21 portions of a white powder presumably cocaine, and 213 portions of a rocky material presumably crack, for a total of 341 portions of controlled substances.

Likewise, RD$8,595.00 in cash, 17 packs of cigarettes, two cell phones, a machete, a knife, and a partially disassembled motorcycle without documentation were seized.
