La Romana.- As a result of the extensive preventive operations carried out by the National Police to preserve citizen security and prevent traffic accidents, three motorcycles were impounded whose drivers were caught participating in illegal races on the Autovía del Este.
The intervention was carried out by police officers while they were performing patrol and surveillance duties on the aforementioned road, managing to seize the motorcycles involved in this illegal practice that puts the lives of drivers, passengers, and other road users at risk.
The National Police reiterates its commitment to maintaining security and public order, while urging citizens to respect traffic regulations and avoid actions that could lead to regrettable incidents.
