Police seize modified motorcycles and conduct preventive operation in Cabral

Barahona. The National Police deployed a preventive operation in the municipality of Cabral, where they seized several modified motorcycles allegedly used for illegal street racing and others intercepted for generating noise that exceeded permitted levels.

The day was carried out as part of the actions aimed at strengthening citizen security and reducing practices that pose a risk to drivers, pedestrians, and residents of the area.

During the operation, the agents also transported 12 people for investigative purposes, with the aim of determining their possible connection to criminal acts and verifying alleged infractions related to public order.

According to the National Police, the intervention is in response to complaints filed by community members regarding the circulation of modified motorcycles that, in addition to participating in illegal races, generate noise pollution and disturb the peace of the sectors.
