San Francisco de Macorís. The Collective of Organizations and Popular Groups announced the call for a march this Sunday in this city, in rejection of the bill they describe as the so-called “Gag Law”.
The organizers reported that the activity was formally notified to the Provincial Government, complying with the corresponding procedure for holding the demonstration.
According to the organizers, the march aims to express their opposition to the legislative initiative, which they consider to be a threat to freedom of expression and other fundamental rights.
