Santo Domingo.- The Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM) is holding its National Assembly of Delegates this Sunday, an internal meeting in which the leaders who will occupy the main positions of the organization for the 2026-2028 period will be defined.
The activity is scheduled for 9:00 in the morning at the Sheraton Hotel tent, in the National District, and will feature the participation of the members of the National Committee as delegates.
The PRM reported that, due to the internal nature of the assembly, access will be reserved exclusively for the summoned delegates, so no press badges will be provided to enter the venue.
The results of the process will be offered later during a press conference led by Sigmund Freund Mena, political delegate of the PRM before the Central Electoral Board (JCE).
During the session, the proposals for the positions of president, vice-presidencies, General Secretariat, and deputy general secretariats of the party for the 2026-2028 period will be submitted for approval by acclamation.
Part of the ordinary convention
The assembly is part of the XXIV Ordinary National Convention “Orlando Jorge Mera”, a process that is being carried out under the provisions established in Law 33-18, on Political Parties, Groups and Movements.
