The Export and Investment Center of the Dominican Republic (ProDominicana), in conjunction with the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA), announced the celebration of the Americas Investment Forum (AIF) 2026 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, affiliated with the World Investment Conference (WIC), will take place from July 1 to 3, 2026 at the JW Marriott Hotel.
This high-level forum, under the approach “Building Opportunities”, is projected as a strategic platform to position the Dominican Republic and other countries in the Americas as an investment destination and, at the same time, strengthen the region as a competitive space, promoting investment, cooperation, and the exchange of capabilities among key actors in the international ecosystem.
In a context of growing dynamism in the Americas, marked by the reconfiguration of global value chains, nearshoring, energy transition, and digitalization, the AIF 2026 will be a key space to channel new investment opportunities towards the Americas, as well as the Dominican Republic.
Biviana Riveiro Disla, executive director of ProDominicana, highlighted that the realization of this event represents a milestone for the country and an opportunity to project its strengths to business and government leaders in the region.
“The Americas Investment Forum 2026 reaffirms international confidence in the Dominican Republic and in our ability to lead initiatives that drive regional economic development. This space will allow us to connect opportunities, promote strategic alliances, and attract high-impact investments for our country and the entire region. The initiative is part of the Dominican government’s efforts to continue consolidating a competitive, modern, and attractive business climate for international investors at a crucial time.
During the three-day agenda, the Americas Investment Forum (AIF) 2026 will bring together investors, government representatives, multilateral organizations, chambers of commerce, entrepreneurs, and investment promotion agencies (IPAs) from different countries, with an estimated participation of more than 2,000 attendees, more than 20 high-level sessions, and more than 50 local and international speakers.
The program will include an opening ceremony with a keynote speech by Dr. James Zhan, President of the Executive Council of the World Investment Conference (WIC) of WAIPA, an expert in investment attraction. In addition, it will be attended by high-ranking officials and the international community. Likewise, the Recognition of Investment in the Dominican Republic 2026 will be held for companies that have entrusted their investment in the country.

During the event, high-level panels and sessions will be held, focusing on investment opportunities in the Americas, covering sectors such as tourism, renewable energies, advanced manufacturing, artificial intelligence, logistics, technology, project financing and sustainable investment, as well as interregional cooperation topics, including a space dedicated to strengthening investment relations with investors from the Americas, the Middle East, Asia, Europe and the United States.
