Santo Domingo.- The Ministry of Health Public informed this Wednesday that there is no evidence of health risk following the situation recorded on a flight that departed from the Cibao International Airport bound for New York and which had to return preventively after a strange odor was perceived inside the aircraft.
The institution explained that, following the incident, emergency and health teams acted immediately to assist and evaluate the affected passengers. The response was coordinated by the Emergency Operations Center (COE) and the Ministry of Health, through the Vice Ministry of Risk Management, with the participation of the Provincial Health Directorate Santiago III, personnel from the National Health Service (SNS), the Directorate of Pre-Hospital Emergency Care (DAEH) and other response agencies.
