Elías Piña.– The interim chief prosecutor of the Elías Piña province Prosecutor’s Office, Vicente Rodríguez Sánchez, led an inter-institutional working table this Wednesday, July 23, together with the main provincial authorities, with the aim of strengthening coordination between State institutions, improving citizen security, and defining joint actions for the organization of public spaces.
The meeting was attended by the civil governor of the province, the mayor of the head municipality, and the provincial commanders of the National Police, the Army of the Dominican Republic (ERD), the Specialized Land Border Security Corps (CESFRONT), the J-2, and the General Directorate of Migration, who reaffirmed their commitment to working in a coordinated manner for the security and development of Elías Piña.
During the meeting, the authorities agreed to execute a reorganization plan for the municipal seat’s market, with the purpose of restoring order and preventing the occupation of public spaces and institutional areas, including the Palace of Justice, the Provincial Governor’s headquarters, and the Banco de Reservas facilities.

The initiative is part of the institutions’ joint efforts to strengthen public order, ensure better civic coexistence, and preserve spaces intended for the provision of public services in the province.
