Putin has no plans to speak with the acting Venezuelan president for the time being.
The Russian President, Vladimir Putin, is not planning to speak with the acting President of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, at the moment, but such a meeting can be quickly coordinated “if necessary”, Kremlin spokesman Dmitri Peskov said today.
“For the time being, Putin does not have this (to converse with the Venezuelan president) in his plans for the coming days, but if necessary, this can be organized, without a doubt,” he asserted in his daily telephone press conference.
However, he indicated that the Russian authorities are “in constant contact with the president through diplomatic channels.”
