Santo Domingo.– Political leader Rafael Paz reported this Wednesday that he was involved in a traffic accident on a highway, after a vehicle rear-ended another, causing it to cross the median (ditch) and invade the lane in which he was traveling.
Through a video shared on his social media, Paz explained that the vehicle that ended up colliding with them moved into the opposite lane after the impact it received. “It was hit in the back, crossed the ditch, and collided with us,” he recounted.
The lawyer also indicated that, despite the magnitude of the crash, none of the people involved suffered significant injuries.
“Thank God absolutely nothing happened that we have to regret in physical terms. We are all fine, but the blow was huge,” he/she expressed.

Likewise, he highlighted that his mobile phone automatically activated the emergency alert to the 911 National Emergency and Security Attention System, which allowed for the rapid arrival of assistance units to the scene of the accident.
