Azua. – Young Eric Lara passed away this Tuesday morning. He had been in the intensive care unit for about a month after being seriously injured in a tragic traffic accident that occurred in
Azua.
The accident, the circumstances of which are still under investigation by the competent authorities, also instantly claimed the life of the young Edwin Nova, generating great consternation among the residents of the community of Los Jovillos and nearby sectors.
Following the event, Lara was urgently transferred to a health center, where she received specialized medical attention. For several weeks, family, friends, and community members kept a constant vigil, raising chains of prayer in the hope of her recovery; however, despite the efforts of the medical staff, the young person did not manage to overcome the serious injuries suffered.

The tragedy has caused a deep feeling of pain and sadness in Los Jovillos, where both young people were widely known and appreciated. Dozens of people have expressed their sorrow and solidarity with the affected families, highlighting the human qualities of Lara and Nova.
The death of both leaves an irreparable void in their family, friends, and loved ones, plunging the community into mourning. In the midst of the pain, a call is made for prudence and respect for traffic regulations, with the aim of preventing regrettable events like this.
