Rafael Pimentel, former director of Inabima, passes away; PRM expresses regret

Santo Domingo.– Passed away this Friday Rafael Pimentel Pimentel, who served as director of the National Institute for Teacher Welfare (Inabima) and municipal president of the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM) in Baní, Peravia province.

The passing occurred at his residence, as reported by the Modern Revolutionary Party, which expressed its condolences to the family, friends, and associates of the political leader.

Pimentel was at the head of Inabima until February 2026, when he submitted his resignation from the position for health reasons.

During his political career, he also held the municipal presidency of the PRM in Baní, where he carried out work linked to party and community activities.

The PRM highlighted his vocation for service, dedication, and commitment to the political organization and his community.

The organization expressed its solidarity with Pimentel’s family and friends in the face of the loss and highlighted the legacy he leaves within the party’s ranks.
