Santo Domingo.– The Senate of the Republic postponed the recognition that was scheduled for this Thursday for the Dominican bachata singer Frank Reyes, due to the weather conditions affecting New York City.
The legislative body reported that the weather situation caused flight cancellations, which prevented the artist, who was to be honored, from being present at the scheduled activity.
Through a statement, the Senate explained that it will soon announce the new date for the recognition of the prominent bachata performer.
The Senate expressed its gratitude for everyone’s understanding and support regarding the decision to postpone the activity, reiterating that the tribute will be held on a new date that will be announced in due course.
