Santiago.- A shooting recorded early this Monday morning during a “teteo” on Primera Street in the La Pulga sector left four people injured by bullets, including two minors, generating fear and tension in the community.
The injured were identified as Chantal Castro, José Luis Ventura Bonifacio, and two teenagers between 15 and 17 years old, whose names are withheld for legal reasons. All are receiving medical attention due to the injuries sustained during the attack.
According to preliminary reports, several unidentified men arrived at the scene aboard three motorcycles and, without a word, opened fire on the participants of the street party. After the attack, the aggressors escaped at high speed.
Witnesses, including Ángel de los Santos and Santo Martínez, recounted that the individuals arrived from Cienfuegos and began shooting indiscriminately, while numerous people were sharing in the “teteo”.
“That was a big shooting, a bag of shots“, Los Santos recounted, describing the chaos that occurred after 3:00 in the morning in the area.
Following the shooting, agents of the
National Police went to the scene and began investigations. So far, several people have been detained for investigation purposes, while the authorities are working to identify and capture those responsible for the attack.
The event has generated concern among residents, who demand greater control and surveillance to prevent these street events from continuing to become scenes of violence.
