San Pedro de Macorís.– With deep sorrow and dismay following the confirmation of the death of Yolanda García, 56 years old, a collaborator of the Supérate program, who remained receiving medical attention after being seriously injured in the traffic accident that occurred last Saturday while she was traveling with other coworkers to an institutional activity.
According to medical reports, Garcia suffered multiple traumas, including a chin wound, a left humerus fracture, a left femur fracture, and an open fracture in the left leg, injuries that seriously compromised his health status.
The victim was initially assisted at the Leopoldo Martínez Hospital, in Hato Mayor, from where they were referred to the Nuestra Señora de la Altagracia Trauma Hospital due to the severity of their injuries and medical complications, where they finally passed away despite the efforts made by the medical staff.
