Three people lost their lives this Thursday afternoon as a result of a collision between two motorcycles that occurred on the road connecting Palenque with the community of Los Yagrumos, according to preliminary information.
Initial reports indicate that two of the victims were brothers. However, as of now, authorities have not released the identities of the deceased nor have they offered details regarding the circumstances that caused the tragic accident.
Images released from the scene show the victims’ bodies on the pavement, next to the two motorcycles involved in the impact.
The competent authorities are expected to recover the bodies and initiate investigations to clarify the causes of the incident.
