Trump suggests partnering with Iran to extract uranium and says Hormuz is open
Washington.- United States President Donald Trump assured this Friday that the Strait of Hormuz is open for the passage of trade and raised the possibility of entering Iran to extract enriched uranium with excavators, associating with the Islamic republic.
“Iran has just announced that the Strait of Hormuz is fully open and ready,” Trump said during a speech in Arizona, at an event for the conservative organization Turning Point.
The leader pointed out that they will enter Iran with excavators to take the “nuclear dust” to the United States, referring to enriched uranium, and said that this will be possible with an alliance with Tehran.
However, Iran has repeatedly stated that it will not renounce its right to enrich uranium for civilian purposes such as nuclear energy.
