Trump suggests Venezuela become the 51st state

United States.- President Donald Trump assured the possibility of Venezuela becoming the 51st state after the selection’s victory in the semi-final against Italy in the World Baseball Classic. “On Monday, Venezuela defeated Italy tonight, 4-2, in the World Baseball Classic semi-final. They are doing really well,” highlighted the president before stating that “good things have been happening to Venezuela lately.” He then asked rhetorically, “What is the cause of this magic?“, before inviting his followers to support “statehood number 51”, the hypothetical integration of the Caribbean country. Your message arrives at the end of a day in which the “really good work” of the acting president of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, was highlighted, with respect to the exploitation of its oil resources, of which it affirmed that “millions, literally millions of barrels of oil are being extracted”.

In addition to this, two months ago, the United States carried out a military intervention in which it captured President Nicolás Maduro and First Lady Cilia Flores, in an operation that left more than a hundred fatalities, which led to a period of cooperation in Caracas with the Trump Administration.
