Washington.- United States President, Donald Trump, threatened Iran this Monday with making them “pay” for the death of American soldiers, following the passing of three service members in Jordan and Iraq.
“Every time Iran kills an American soldier, they will pay for it many times over,” warned Trump in a message on the Truth Social network.
Trump stated that he has given this instruction to the Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth; to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Daniel Caine; and to the entire U.S. military leadership.
U.S. soldiers killed in the war with Iran
Two American soldiers died this weekend in an Iranian attack on a military base in Jordan and another died in Iraq during the controlled detonation of an Iranian explosive.
These are the first U.S. casualties recorded since the breakdown of the ceasefire between the United States and Iran nearly two weeks ago.
