Two brothers, aged 3 and 5, die after a fire consumed their home in Honduras

The community of El Bálsamo, in the municipality of Victoria, Yoro, is in mourning following the death of two brothers who were seriously injured during a fire that occurred in the home where they were staying. The tragedy has caused shock among family members, neighbors, and residents of the area.

The victims were identified as Leonel Murillo García, 3 years old, and Lyana Murillo García, 5 years old, who were rescued and rushed to a medical center after suffering severe injuries caused by the fire that consumed the home.

Subsequently, both minors were referred to the Mario Catarino Rivas Hospital, in San Pedro Sula, where they received specialized medical attention due to the severity of their burns. However, despite the efforts of the medical staff, both children passed away as a result of the injuries sustained.
