Santo Domingo.– The Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD) inaugurated this Thursday its new Multiservice Center, a modern infrastructure that concentrates in one space the main academic and administrative services of the state academy, with the aim of improving attention and streamlining processes for the university community.
The work, built in the area where the old University Dining Hall previously operated, represented an approximate investment of 151 million pesos and is part of the efforts of modernization and institutional transformation promoted by the university.
The new center integrates the areas of Admissions, Registration, Validation and Equivalencies, Archive and General Cashier, allowing to centralize the services most demanded by students, teachers and external users.
The infrastructure has 32 counters for the automation of 29 university services, as well as digital guidance systems, information screens and a modern integrated sound system that will contribute to offering a more efficient, agile and accessible service.
