International Editorial.- The General Civil Aviation Authority of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) announced this Tuesday the temporary and total closure of the country’s airspace, following a new wave of attacks with Iranian drones and missiles.
According to the statement, this is “an exceptional precautionary measure” to ensure the safety of flights and safeguard the territory of the UAE. The General Civil Aviation Authority stated that the decision was made after a comprehensive assessment of operational and safety risks, and in full coordination with relevant national and international authorities. Coinciding with this announcement, the UAE Ministry of Defense reported that air defenses are responding to missile and drone threats coming from Iran.Related News
