Los Alcarrizos.– Several community organizations in the Villa Linda III sector united this Sunday to defend the innocence of Mr. Bacilio Guerrero, known as “Jhonny”, who is facing for the third time an accusation of alleged physical abuse filed by his ex-partner, Altagracia Pinales, a case for which he has been incarcerated on two previous occasions in La Victoria prison. The pronouncement was led by Rubén Núñez, president of the Villa Linda III Neighborhood Council, who acted as spokesperson for the different organizations, pointing out that the complainant was declared persona non grata in the sector in 2021, after multiple conflicts with community residents. As explained, the woman had made at least 16 previous complaints against different neighbors, generating a climate of uncertainty and concern in the area. We recommend reading: The community called on the Prosecutor’s Office of Las Palmas, in Herrera, where the coercion measure against Guerrero will be known this Wednesday, to take into account the history of conflicts attributed to the complainant and the collective support received by the accused. In that same vein, Vitermina Jiménez, sister of “Johnny”, expressed that the situation has severely affected her family and asked that the authorities evaluate the case with depth and objectivity, addressing all aspects of the conflict, which —according to her— could be based on psychological problems of the complainant.
