Santo Domingo.- Daisy Tejada Santana came to De Último Minuto to report that, upon returning from the United States, she found the bank accounts empty where she claims she had deposited the savings she sent for her retirement along with her husband, Pastor Ramón Antonio Santana Contreras.
According to her account, she worked in the United States for several years and sent money to the Dominican Republic with the goal of building her assets and ensuring her economic stability. However, she claims that upon returning, she discovered that the funds had allegedly been withdrawn by her husband, who, according to her version, had been maintaining an extramarital affair for several years.
The complainant stated that she has bank statements, money transfer receipts, and other documents that, she claims, provide evidence of how the funds were handled. Likewise, she maintained that these events have affected both her financial situation and her family, as well as the religious ministry to which they both belonged.
