Santo Domingo.- Dominican suspense and horror cinema adds a new production to its history: “Baño de mujeres”, a film starring Dominican actress Judith Rodríguez, Angelique Burgos (from Puerto Rico) and, from Mexico, Altair Jarabo.
During a private sneak peek with members of the press and film critics, a 7-minute cut of the film was exclusively screened, as well as the behind the scenes. Details of this story, which arrives in cinemas in the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico on October 2, were offered.
“Women’s Bathroom” is directed by Frank Perozo, who also acts in an antagonistic role in his first suspense film. Original story written by Kendy Y. Calcaño. It also features the Argentine director and screenwriter Santiago Fernández Calvete as a co-writer.
Within the novelties in this production is the sound engineering and musicalization, in charge of the Canadian musician and composer Mario Sévigny, winner of multiple awards with this genre. His musical composition gives a distinctive atmosphere to the moments of suspense and terror in the film.
