Santo Domingo.– The brother of the late basketball player Yeuri Rodríguez assured that his family will continue fighting so that the case does not go unpunished, after a court imposed three months of preventive detention as a coercive measure against Yeudi Miguel Hernández Rodríguez, accused of providing the weapon used in the crime.

During an interview given in the San Carlos sector, the victim’s relative stated that the accused must take responsibility for having provided the weapon that was allegedly used to take the life of the young athlete.

“He says he only did a favor, but that favor ended my brother’s life. All we want is for the authorities to investigate thoroughly and for everyone responsible to pay for this act,” he expressed.
