Barahona.– The search for a 24-year-old man ended this Thursday with a fatal outcome, after his body was located in a remote area of the Barahona province.
This is Manuel Santana Feliz, known as “Manen Felicia”, who resided in the Los Callejones sector and had been reported missing three days before being found.
The discovery occurred around 2:00 in the afternoon, in a rural area near the point known as La Lomita, approximately nine kilometers southeast of the mountainous area of the El Cachón municipal district.
The state in which the body was found made immediate identification difficult, due to the advanced process of decomposition.

After receiving the alert about the discovery, family members and authorities moved to the scene, where the corresponding procedures were carried out to remove the body.
At the moment, the circumstances that led to the young man’s death have not been publicly established. Authorities are working to clarify the case and determine what happened during the days he remained missing.
