Santo Domingo Norte. – The community movement Jóvenes con Horizontes carried out a comprehensive medical-social operation in the La Javilla sector, in Villa Mella, Santo Domingo Norte municipality, benefiting dozens of families with free health services and preventive guidance.
The day was focused on basic medical check-ups, blood pressure assessment, blood sugar control, and guidance on comprehensive health care, with the aim of promoting prevention and improving the quality of life of the residents of this community.
The operation was led by the president of the movement, Wascar Morales Tatis, accompanied by Dr. Ana Luisa Lora, as well as Carlos Padilla and collaborators Juan Herrera and Adalgisa Núñez, who coordinated the logistics and assistance to the community members.
Morales Tatis highlighted that this type of initiative is part of the movement’s permanent commitment to bring solidarity support and essential services to the most vulnerable sectors of the municipality.
Residents like Karina Santos expressed their satisfaction and gratitude for the day, highlighting the importance of young leaders and health professionals taking La Javilla into account for this type of community action.
