Santiago.- President Luis Abinader arrived this Sunday at the Santiago Botanical Garden to lead a session of the Council of Ministers, in which the progress of the main works being executed by the Government in this province will be evaluated and new actions aimed at strengthening its development will be defined.
The meeting, which is taking place in the Botanical Garden’s auditorium, brings together ministers, directors general, and senior government officials, who will present an updated report on the projects currently underway, as well as the initiatives scheduled for the coming months.
During the meeting, the authorities will review the investments made in strategic areas such as road infrastructure, drinking water, health, education, transport, housing, and urban development, with the purpose of guaranteeing compliance with the commitments made by the Government in the province of Santiago.
Likewise, it is expected that new measures and actions aimed at accelerating the execution of works considered priority for the economic and social growth of the so-called Heart City will be announced.
The holding of the Council of Ministers is part of the work agenda that the president is carrying out in Santiago, where the Government has important infrastructure and public service projects underway with the aim of improving the quality of life of citizens and consolidating the development of the northern region of the country.
With this meeting, President Abinader seeks to directly follow up on the progress of government works and strengthen coordination between the different institutions responsible for their execution.
