“The permanent monitoring of goals ensures a more efficient, coordinated, and focused public management on national priorities,” he said.
During the session, the Minister of Finance, Magín Díaz, presented a report on the performance of the Dominican economy at the end of 2025 and the macroeconomic projections for the period 2026–2028, highlighting economic stability as a pillar to sustain growth, public investment, job creation, and the development of social policies. Likewise, the Vice Minister of the Presidency, Luis Madera Sued, presented the progress of the prioritized goals, highlighting progress in strategic areas such as infrastructure, education, health, security, innovation, and institutional strengthening. President Abinader reiterated that the effective fulfillment of these goals constitutes the central axis of his management, while reaffirming his commitment to continue promoting public policies aimed at improving the quality of life of the population. As a highlight, the results of the Articulation Day: Government Actions 2026 were presented, an initiative led by the Ministry of the Presidency to reinforce inter-institutional coordination and align national priorities. This process included consultations with social organizations linked to elderly people, children, and women, whose contributions were incorporated into government planning for 2026, strengthening the human and participatory approach of management.
