Santo Domingo.- The National Institute of Transit and Terrestrial Transportation (INTRANT) will deliver this Thursday, February 26, the new Driver’s License to the president of the Republic, Luis Abinader, as part of its official presentation.
Since last February 23rd, the transition to the new operational model of the system has been underway, which includes the change of supplier, the habilitation of new service locations and adjustments in the processes, with the purpose of increasing the response capacity and guaranteeing the continuity of the service.
Within the deployment of this phase, on February 23, 24, 25 and 26, licenses will be issued and renewed exclusively for the public and private chauffeur sector, including mass transportation. The measure seeks to streamline procedures, reduce waiting times and strengthen the order and traceability of the process.
