Adocco will bring the former Minister of Education to justice for alleged violation of heritage laws and money laundering

Santo Domingo. The Dominican Alliance Against Corruption (Adocco) announced that this Monday, September 1, it will present a formal complaint to the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for the Prosecution of Administrative Corruption (Pepca) against the former Minister of Education, Ángel Hernández. According to the civic organization, the legal action is based on alleged violations of Law 311-14 on Sworn Declaration of Assets and Law 155-17 on Money Laundering.

The submission will be formalized at 9:00 a.m. at the headquarters of the Attorney General’s Office, located in the Heroes Center, National District. The complaint, revealed by ADOCCO through its X social media account, places the former official at the center of the controversy and generates new tensions around transparency in public administration, especially in the education system.
