Ruiz Massieu attended accompanied by the head of Cabinet, William P. Gardner, and the political officer of the UN headquarters, Caroline McQueen, in a context where the situation in Haiti represents a direct challenge to regional security and the stability of the island, the Ministry reported in a note.
