Dicrim arrests young man accused of homicide in Salcedo

Salcedo.– Members of the Criminal Investigations Department (Dicrim) arrested the young Emiliano Capellán López, who was a fugitive from justice, accused of taking the life of Mr. Francisco Alberto Rodríguez García, in an event that occurred in the community El Matadero, municipality of Salcedo.

The detainee was actively sought by the authorities, having been identified as the alleged perpetrator of the homicide. Thanks to intelligence and surveillance work, he was located and arrested without incident.

Chaplain López will be made available to the Prosecutor’s Office of Hermanas Mirabal province in the next few hours, for the corresponding legal purposes and the continuation of the investigation process.
