Dicrim investigates shooting at MG Kitchen that reportedly left one dead and one injured

Santo Domingo.- The Central Investigation Directorate (Dicrim) remains at the MG Kitchen restaurant, where one person had died and another was injured after a shooting recorded this Thursday morning. The scene is under control and the authorities are already collecting evidence and questioning witnesses.

In a previous incident at the same establishment, which occurred in September 2022, a shooting left one person dead and two injured. On that occasion, the bar-restaurant was temporarily closed by the COBA of the Ministry of Interior and Police. The deceased was identified as Edwin José Mejía Santana, and the injured as Joel Torres Ozuna, 44 years old, and Jesús María Cruz Herrera, 39 years old. Cruz Herrera also appears as the owner of the La Santa nightclub.
