The Regional Intelligence Sub-Directorate (Dintel), National Police, La Vega, carried out three raids in different sectors of this municipality, in coordination with the Public Ministry and the Preventive Police, achieving the detention of three people and the seizure of firearms, ammunition, and other objects of investigative interest. In the Los Pomos sector, during the first intervention, the agents executed a judicial order aimed at locating illicit objects. Although no incriminating evidence was seized, Jonas Ismael Paulino Marcial was arrested, who, upon being processed, registered a pending execution status in the institutional system, for which he was placed under police control. In a second raid, also carried out in the Los Pomos sector, nine 9mm caliber capsules, a bottle with air rifle pellets and two white weapons of the dagger type were seized. This evidence was found during the inspection ordered against the named Fabiana Matías Soto (Sioni), who will be followed up in accordance with the established procedures.

The third intervention took place in the Las Maras sector, where the acting agents seized two 9mm caliber pistols, both without legal documentation. One of these weapons was thrown towards the back of the house by the named Luis José Reinoso, a resident of the same sector, who was arrested for the corresponding purposes. In this case, Mrs. Sharina Arisleidy Ventura Ángeles, against whom the judicial order was directed, is also linked. Authorities reported that all detainees and seized evidence were referred to the relevant departments, reaffirming the institution’s commitment to citizen security and the fight against criminal activities in the province.
