Santo Domingo Oeste.– A fire reported this Monday afternoon affected the facilities of the commercial establishment Ming Sheng, owned by Chinese proprietors, located on Isabel Aguiar Avenue, in the Santo Domingo Oeste municipality, causing the temporary closure of approximately one kilometer of that important road.
The fire started around 4:00 in the afternoon, which mobilized several units of the Santo Domingo Oeste Fire Department and teams from the 9-1-1 National Emergency and Security Attention System, who worked to control the flames.
The authorities established a security perimeter in the area while extinguishing efforts were underway, with the goal of protecting employees, residents, and passersby in the area.
The operations commander of the Fire Department, Fernando Arturo Santana, reported that so far no injuries or casualties have been reported due to the fire.

Santana explained that the efforts to extinguish the fire faced difficulties due to the lack of water at certain moments of the emergency, a situation that delayed the process of controlling the blaze.
