Girl left abandoned at Las Matas de Farfán detachment

San Juan.– A minor was located in the police station of this municipality, after she was allegedly abandoned by her mother, according to the authorities. The girl, whose identity has not yet been offered for legal reasons, stated that she is from Santo Domingo and that her mother left her abandoned in the area, without specifying the circumstances.

Currently, the minor remains under the custody of the Las Matas de Farfán police detachment, while the competent authorities conduct the corresponding investigations to locate her family and guarantee her protection.

Authorities are calling on citizens to collaborate with any information that allows the girl to be identified or her relatives to be located, with the aim of ensuring her well-being and that she can be reintegrated into a safe family environment.
