Multiple accident on Baní’s ring road leaves three dead and five injured

A traffic accident that occurred this Sunday morning on the Baní ring road left a preliminary toll of three people dead and five injured, after several vehicles collided on the eastern section of the road. The accident was recorded around 9:30 in the morning, near the community of Ojo de Agua, in the municipal district of Paya. At the scene, several people were lying on the pavement, some with visible signs of pain, while others remained motionless.

According to a preliminary report from the General Directorate of Traffic and Ground Transportation Safety (Digesett), as of the writing of this note, three fatalities and five injuries are confirmed, who have not yet been identified. The authorities are maintaining the verification process to officially establish the exact number of victims, as well as the circumstances in which the fatal accident occurred.
