The New York Police Department is searching for Dominican national Angel Carrasco, 31, in connection with the death of his former partner, Nathaly Ramírez, 23, who fell from the balcony of a 15th-floor apartment in the Bronx while holding their eight-month-old daughter. Police consider Carrasco armed and dangerous and have released his photograph seeking information that could help locate him.

The incident occurred around 3:38 a.m. Tuesday at a building on Olmiville Avenue in the Allerton neighborhood. Police said Ramírez was on the balcony with her baby when she was allegedly pushed from the 15th floor. Ramírez suffered fatal injuries, while her daughter survived and was taken to Jacobi Medical Center. The baby was initially in critical condition but was later reported stable.

A neighbor told police she heard Ramírez arguing with a man shortly before the fall. According to the neighbor, Ramírez was holding her daughter and told the man to stop because he was frightening the baby. Other residents described frequent arguments between the couple and said Ramírez had previously expressed a desire to leave the relationship.

Surveillance footage obtained by the Daily News reportedly shows Carrasco walking away from the building shortly after the incident. He was wearing a beige hooded sweatshirt and carrying a backpack. Police are asking anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact the NYPD.

Ramírez had studied at Bronx Leadership Academy and later pursued psychology studies at Baruch College. She also completed an internship at a Brooklyn management consulting company. Her former employer described her death as a major loss to the team.

Carrasco remains wanted as the investigation continues, while Ramírez’s daughter remains under medical care.
