La Romana.– Members of the Eastern Regional Directorate of the National Police, in coordination with agents from DICRIM, Rapid Action, Anti-Noise, and the Dominican Republic Navy (ARD), carried out a joint operation at the entertainment and alcoholic beverage establishments “Los 3 Men 2” and “El Manantial”, located on the banks of the Salado River, in this city.
The intervention was carried out under the instructions of General Claudio González Moquete, Eastern Regional Director, in response to multiple complaints regarding the high noise levels generated by both establishments
During the operation, several sound systems, furniture, and other items were seized, including speakers, fans, tables, benches, chairs, an audio source, and other objects, as the businesses were found to be in alleged violation of Law 90-19 on the prevention, suppression, and limitation of harmful and annoying noise.

The occupied properties were referred to the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for the Defense of the Environment and Natural Resources of La Romana, for the corresponding legal purposes.
