Anti-noise operation leaves eight businesses closed in Baní and Nizao
Santo Domingo.- A comprehensive anti-noise control and supervision operation of night establishments carried out during the weekend left at least eight businesses temporarily closed and several more notified in the municipalities of Baní and Nizao, Peravia province.
The day was led by representatives from the Ministry of Interior and Police, the Alcohol Beverage Control Department (COBA), the Public Ministry, the National Police, and the National Drug Control Directorate (DNCD), as part of the citizen security and public order actions being carried out nationwide.
According to preliminary reports, the closed businesses, including bars, drinks, and nightclubs, incurred violations related to noise pollution, failure to comply with operating hours, expired permits, and other administrative offenses.
The interventions began from the early hours of Saturday night and extended until the early hours of Sunday, covering both urban and rural areas of the province.
