They capture a crocodile that had escaped from a tourist ranch in Puerto Plata

Santo Domingo.- Rescue authorities in the Dominican Republic captured this Monday the American crocodile that had escaped from a tourist ranch in the municipal district of Sabana de Yásica, Puerto Plata province, after the intense rains that affected the area days ago.

The animal, owned by a ranch dedicated to tourist excursions, had left its enclosure after the rains raised the water level, facilitating its escape. The situation caused concern among residents, as several homes were flooded in the community last week.
