Charytín Goyco reveals she was bitten by a black widow spider
Dominican television presenter Charytín Goyco revealed that she was bitten by a black widow spider several days ago, suffering an intense burning sensation in one of her legs.
Goyco shared the news through an audio message on Univision’s Desiguales, explaining that the incident occurred four or five days earlier. She sought medical attention and received treatment through intramuscular injections.
Despite the scare, the presenter said her recovery has been positive and that she was feeling “almost 99%” better on Wednesday. She said she hopes to return to the studio Thursday if her condition continues to improve.
Her colleague Adamari López sent her a message of support and wished her a speedy recovery. The spider bite forced Goyco to take several days off, but she said it has not resulted in a major health problem.
