SANTO DOMINGO.- Dominican singer-songwriter Jaime Viñas presented “Fechoría”, his new single accompanied by a video clip premiered on his official YouTube channel, a combination that he presents with a retro-inspired pop vibe, in this song that explores the desire and complicity of a relationship that lives on the edge of the forbidden.
The song presents an intimate and almost cinematographic scene with two people who meet secretly in room 102, where time seems to stand still and everything remains under a silent pact.
Composed by Viñas in his youth, “Fechoría” is born from a very human fantasy, the attraction to an older woman, with more experience and a life full of commitments. Between stolen kisses and the tension of being discovered, the encounter becomes an emotional prank.
“Fechoría speaks of that moment when you know something shouldn’t happen… but you still want it and decide to live it,” comments the artist.
This song mixes pop melodies with a retro sound aesthetic that brings a nostalgic and seductive atmosphere to the story. The production and musical arrangements were in charge of Ariel Sánchez, while the music video was directed by the renowned director Ambiorix Martínez, who has worked with important figures of Dominican music such as Pavel Núñez and Ilegales.
“Fechoría” marks the first of several releases that Jaime Viñas has scheduled for this year, along with upcoming showcases and live presentations that will be announced soon through his social media, @jaimevinas, and on his official YouTube channel.
