Los Ángeles.- The new Taylor Swift album, ‘The Life of a Showgirl‘, became the most streamed album in a single day on Spotify so far in 2025, the platform confirmed this Friday after surpassing five million pre-saves for an album. Swift released the album at midnight, less than a year after ending her monumental ‘The Eras Tour’, the world tour with which she showcased her power in the industry as one of the most important pop figures today. With ‘The Life of a Showgirl’, Swift moved away from the melancholic introspection of ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ (2024) and the dark and reflective sounds that had marked her latest productions and instead returns to the basics of the most classic pop that marked her early stages, a little thanks to the return of the producers Max Martin and Shellback, with whom she worked on songs like ‘Blank Space’ or ‘Shake It Off’.

The album, which celebrates her life behind the scenes after the experience she lived during her most recent tour, arrives at a sweet moment for Swift, who recently announced her engagement to American football player Travis Kelce and after having recovered the ownership of the master recordings of her first six albums.
