Amazon cargo plane crashes after overshooting runway at Miami airport

An Amazon cargo Boeing 767 crashed after apparently overshooting the runway at Miami International Airport on Sunday, with flames and thick black smoke visible from the aircraft.
The plane, operated by Amazon Prime Air, was arriving from San Juan, Puerto Rico, when it veered off the runway and crossed a nearby roadway. Videos circulating online showed the aircraft lying across the road with flames coming from parts of the fuselage.
The aircraft appeared to remain largely intact after the incident, although the cause of the crash was not immediately known. Emergency crews responded to the scene as authorities investigated what led to the runway overrun.
The Federal Aviation Administration issued a ground stop at Miami International Airport, temporarily halting airport traffic while emergency crews responded to the incident.
Initial reports said there were no confirmed casualties, but authorities had not yet released a full account of possible injuries or damage on the ground as the situation remained under investigation.
