Colombia.– Dominican congressmen are in Colombia participating as international observers of the second round of the presidential elections, within the framework of the Electoral Observation Mission organized by the Permanent Conference of Political Parties of Latin America and the Caribbean (COPPPAL).
n” “nThe Dominican delegation is composed of deputies Bray Vargas and Franklin Martínez, from the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD), as well as Luis Báez and Francisco Villegas, from the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM), who are part of a group of legislators and representatives from different countries invited to monitor the development of the Colombian electoral process.
n” “nAs part of the activities prior to the voting day, the observers held working meetings with authorities of the National Electoral Council (CNE) of Colombia in the city of Medellin, where they received information on the organization, logistics, and guarantees of the electoral process.
